Imogen & Adam, Somerley House Wedding Photography

Somerley House beautifully surrounded by glorious countryside on the edge of the New Forest National Park, nestled right on the Hampshire border, and it is simply one of the most incredible venues I have had the distinct pleasure to photograph. I first met with Imogen and Adam in early 2022 and instantly fell in love with their inspiring vision for what they wanted for their wedding day. When the highly anticipated day finally arrived in May 2024, the sun was shining, and the sky was a vibrant blue, providing the perfect conditions for a quintessential English wedding celebration. https://somerley.com/

I am so lucky to be a wedding photographer based in Hampshire as the county is so rural and with so many country manor houses and estates with Somerly being one of the most spectacular venues I have photographed. The ceremony took place at the stunningly beautiful St Peters St Pauls in Ringwood, where we gathered for a delightful midday service that was filled with an abundance of joy and heartfelt emotions. Following the ceremony, we made our way back to the elegant Somerley House for the reception, where the celebration continued. This truly has to be one of the most breathtaking settings I have ever had the pleasure to photograph, with its charm and elegance being simply stunning, both inside and out, and providing a perfect backdrop for all the festivities. Every corner you turn reveals countless opportunities to create captivating imagery that tells a compelling story. The venue boasts so much charm, with unique architecture, vibrant colour, and rich textures, allowing creativity to flow freely. I cannot wait to return and capture even more special moments in this remarkable place that holds such significance for so many people.
